We’re planting a tree on Sunday, Earth Day here in Parque Omar, the largest park within Panama City.
It’ll be a two-meter long Jacaranda, a tree native to the earth here. Fitting.
We’ll plant it this year, for the inaugural Festival Abierto.
A friend sent this photo with a note:
In 50 years this will be the tree we planted.
What a beautiful idea.
Thank you.
UPDATE: this is the actual tree we planted on Earth Day 2012.
