Who Will Rule the Online Economy?

At Web 2.0 Summit this November, we will use our program to map strategic inflection points across the Internet landscape in order to answer our industry’s pressing questions about the future:

  • As the Web and the world intertwine through mobile and sensor platforms, will the Internet be locked in or left open?
  • How will the decisions we make determine the fundamental architecture of our society and how we access the Web?
  • How will media change with the rise of iTunes and Hulu, the vertical integration of the iPhone and iPad, and the promise (or threat) of paid content?
  • In the face of new advances by Facebook, Google, and other heavyweights, who will own the social graph and control identity services?

See more on the topic in John Battelle’s write up here.
